About the Opportunity:
This is a unique opportunity for you to be on the frontlines, interacting with new potential investors You will represent Alto to the world and will be the face and voice of our company, interacting directly with the people we created Alto to serve—individual investors.
Many of these individuals may not have used their retirement account to invest in private real estate, venture capital, or crypto. They will look to you to help them better understand the process, the considerations, and, ultimately, why they should want to work with Alto. You will be in a position to influence the future of our firm and grow within the company. You are an educator, a people person, and passionate about helping folks on their journey into alternative asset investing by prioritizing their needs, challenges, goals, and interests.
Your primary goal will be to meet sales targets while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
As an Alto Investor Sales Associate, you'll be the guiding light for new investors venturing into the exciting territories of private real estate, venture capital, and crypto. You're not just a salesperson; you're an educator, a confidant, and a visionary, helping individuals understand and navigate the innovative world of alternative asset investing.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Sales and Client Acquisition: Seek new sales by responding to inbound leads and conducting outbound outreach. Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and recommend suitable products/services.
- Product Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of the company's financial products, services, and offerings. Explain complex financial concepts in a clear and understandable manner to clients.
- Consultative Selling: Conduct thorough financial assessments and analyses for clients, offering tailored solutions that align with their objectives and risk tolerance.
- Client Servicing: Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction. Follow up on leads and maintain regular communication with existing and potential clients.
- Compliance and Regulations: Adhere strictly to industry regulations and compliance standards. Ensure all sales activities and documentation meet legal requirements and company policies.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and financial transactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (preferred).
- Active FINRA Series 7 and 63/66 or Series 82 and 63/66
- 4+ years experience selling financial services to individual investors
- Prior startup experience a plus
- Proven track record in sales in the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of financial products, markets, and investment strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office suite.
