Install Recruiter

The Install Recruiter reports directly to the Director, Talent Acquisition, providing full-cycle recruiting support to our install operations teams across the United States, primarily focusing on 1099 residential window and door installation crews. This is a high-volume recruiting position that can be 100% remote, with 50% travel expected throughout the assigned territory and to our corporate office in Maryland.

Core Role Responsibilities:

    • Intensive scouting for 1099 window and door installation crews in all assigned markets
    • Interview subcontractors in the field, by phone, virtually or in our local field offices to evaluate fit for installation partnership opportunities
    • Research strategic local market locations to find 1099 subcontractors, building a strong pipeline and partnerships with these entities
    • Establish relationships with industry partners in local markets to identify recruiting sources
    • Conduct extensive competitor research to identify competitors’ strengths and weaknesses in their respective 1099 installation programs
    • Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract qualified subcontractor partnerships through job postings, cold calling, continuous follow up, social media, networking, and employee referrals
    • Establish ongoing effective relationships with Window Nation operations leaders to fully understand their needs, wants and challenges when making the subcontractor selection decisions
    • Ensure compliance with all required local, state, and federal employment, environmental and labor laws

Basic Qualifications

    • 3+ years of corporate or agency recruiting experience, or 3+ years of relevant home improvement industry experience
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Valid driver’s license and the ability to meet our corporate automobile insurance requirements

Preferred Qualifications

    • Demonstrated success with recruiting 1099 subcontractors
    • Proven record of establishing productive and effective working relationships
    • Ability to exercise good judgment in protection and dissemination of company confidential and proprietary information
    • Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail
    • Ability to work outside the standard 9-5 to accommodate prospects and time zones as needed
    • Ability to learn new technology and adapt to a new environment with strong analytical, administrative, and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent time management skills, and experience managing multiple requisitions simultaneously
