HR/Payroll Coordinator (Hybrid)

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR/Payroll Coordinator to manage payroll processing and support human resources operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with payroll systems—preferably ADP Workforce Now—and a solid understanding of HR functions, ensuring smooth and accurate payroll execution while fostering a positive employee experience. This position offers 2-3 days of remote work each week.

Responsibilities:

    • Payroll Administration:
    • Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
    • Maintain and update employee records in ADP Workforce Now, including onboarding, terminations, benefits deductions, and salary adjustments.
    • Verify timesheets, calculate wages, deductions, bonuses, and overtime as applicable.
    • Prepare and distribute payroll reports for management and finance teams.
    • Address payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve discrepancies promptly.
    • Human Resources Support:
    • Assist in recruitment processes, including posting job openings, coordinating interviews, and processing new hire paperwork.
    • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and troubleshooting issues.
    • Maintain and update employee records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
    • Support employee engagement initiatives and contribute to fostering a positive workplace culture.
    • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
    • General Duties:
    • Collaborate with finance and HR teams to ensure seamless coordination between payroll and other HR functions.
    • Generate and analyze payroll and HR reports to support business decision-making.
    • Assist in annual audits and compliance reviews related to payroll and HR practices.
    • Stay informed of changes in labor laws, payroll regulations, and tax requirements to ensure compliance.
