Job Description

About the department  
Global Asset team is a key strategic growth area for the business. We are a (growing) diverse team of 25+ finance experts responsible for providing innovative and sustainable investment advice to large global investors such as Endowments, Foundations, Wealth Managers, Insurance Companies and Sovereign Wealth Funds.     
 

About the role 
This role will work closely with our client business leads, CIO and research teams to ensure seamless delivery of our best investment ideas to our clients within their investment portfolios. You will have responsibility for the effective running of our portfolio construction and monitoring process, using inputs from our Asset Research team and Investment Strategy Committee. This role will also be client facing, where you may be required to join consulting teams to deliver the asset allocation views and recommendations. You will also have access to our tech developers and quantitative modelling team to enhance and expand the tools and systems available to manager portfolio construction and oversight.  

Qualifications

This role is for you if you

  • Are an investment professional with approx.10 years+ of experience  
  • Have expertise in finance, capital markets and asset allocation across the asset class universe  
  • Have prior experience managing asset allocation and portfolio construction processes  
  • Have strong people skills and able to work effectively across multiple teams  
  • Are able to effectively lead internal meetings and support investment decision making  
  • Are well versed in the Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)   

It would be great if you also   

  • Have experience within UK wealth management  
  • Are keen to contribute to research and thought pieces
