Head of CRM Salesforce

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of CRM (Salesforce) to take full ownership of our client CRM ecosystem and lead a team of eight CRM administrators. This individual will lead the strategic direction, development, and day-to-day management of Salesforce to support our unique business processes and ensure optimal performance.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Salesforce development, system architecture, team leadership, and strategic alignment to drive results.

Key Responsibilities:

    • CRM Leadership and Strategy: Define and execute the strategic vision for Salesforce CRM to align with business objectives.
    • Ensure Salesforce setup supports unique operational requirements and scalability.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for all Salesforce-related decisions and updates.
    • Development and Customization: Lead the design, development, and deployment of custom Salesforce solutions, including custom objects, Lightning components, workflows, and integrations.
    • Manage ongoing CRM development to meet evolving business needs.
    • Oversee the implementation of API integrations with third-party systems.
    • Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices and maintain system integrity.
    • System Administration: Oversee all administrative functions, including user management, permissions, data management, and system maintenance.
    • Manage system updates, new releases, and upgrades while minimizing disruptions to users.
    • Proactively monitor system performance and address issues as they arise.
    • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of 8 CRM administrators, ensuring efficient system management and team performance.
    • Set clear goals and expectations for the team, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback.
    • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and professional growth.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
    • Data Management and Reporting: Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and security within Salesforce.
    • Design and implement advanced reporting and dashboards to provide actionable insights to leadership.
    • Work with teams to establish KPIs and track system performance.
    • Process Optimization and Automation:
    • Identify opportunities to optimize workflows and improve user experience.
    • Implement automation solutions to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
    • Training and Support: Develop and deliver Salesforce training programs to ensure user adoption and proficiency.
    • Provide ongoing support to end users, addressing issues and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
    • 7+ years of Salesforce experience, including system architecture, development, and administration.
    • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Developer, Salesforce Architect, CPQ expertise) strongly preferred.
    • Proven track record of designing and implementing custom Salesforce solutions for unique business needs.
    • Experience managing teams of developers and administrators, including direct supervision of at least 5 team members.
    • Expertise in API integrations and third-party system connections.
    • Strong data management and reporting skills, including advanced knowledge of Salesforce reporting tools.
    • Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
$14 - $17 an hour
