Graphic Designer

As a Graphic Designer, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our brand to life across social media, email
campaigns, and other digital touchpoints. Reporting to the Director of Brand & Content Strategy on the
Marketing team, you’ll collaborate with copywriters, strategists, and video editors to deliver compelling
visuals that align with our brand awareness, community growth, and user engagement goals.
You will focus on creating high-impact, platform-optimized content, contributing to a cohesive brand
identity, and leveraging design to convert and engage our target audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Social Media Design: Create visually engaging assets for all social media channels, ensuring alignment with our brand voice and overall marketing strategy.
    • Email Marketing Assets: Design impactful email templates and visuals for campaigns managed through HubSpot, enhancing conversion rates.
    • Content Atomization: Repurpose design assets into various formats (e.g., infographics, social media graphics, e-books, site assets, etc.) to maximize reach across digital platforms.
    • Collaborative Design: Partner with cross-functional teams to support webinars, masterclasses, blog visuals, CRM content, and more.
    • Brand Consistency: Maintain and evolve Venture Backed’s visual identity across all touchpoints to ensure a cohesive brand experience.
    • Figma Expertise: Use Figma to create and manage collaborative design files for cross-functional input and iteration.
    • Optimization: Partner with team members to refine visual strategies, ensuring designs resonate with target audiences.

Requirements:

    • Experience: Extensive experience in graphic design, preferably in startups or high-growth environments.
    • Tech Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
    • Adaptability: Ability to balance creative vision with the agility needed to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
    • Strategic Thinking: Familiarity with digital content best practices, social media trends, and the ability to create designs that showcase creativity and forward-thinking.
    • Team Player: Strong collaboration skills to work with a globally dispersed team, including copywriters, email marketers, and video editors.
    • Must-Have: A strong portfolio for review demonstrating creativity in various digital design formats and the ability to use brand visuals effectively.
    • Nice-to-Have: Experience with designing emails for HubSpot CRM integration.
    • Bonus: Knowledge of animation or motion graphics.
