Job Description:
As the Fleet Maintenance System Administrator you will be responsible for providing leadership, coordination, and management of Highlands’ Engineering and Maintenance platforms. The role serves as a conduit for communication between field operations, the Engineering and Maintenance, Accounting and Finance teams.

The Fleet Maintenance System Administrator coordinates the efforts of the team by establishing workflow processes within the engineering and maintenance platforms and keeping data integrity of the system.

Key responsibilities will include organization and maintaining of locations and assets hierarchy, establishment of attribute domain fields for buses and chargers, warehouse and part inventory structure, and ultimately maintenance fleet reporting that will support maintenance and asset management. 

Responsibilities

    • Plays a critical role in the overall build out and customization of the engineering and maintenance platforms and will continually support modification in line with business needs
    • Maintains the day-to-day data integrity associated with the engineering and maintenance platforms including the batch entry of external maintenance and repair work performed, the upload of new assets, warranty contracts, new customers, parts and inventory data structure and customer contacts
    • Oversee setup of storerooms and inventory tracking when necessary and assist management in variance identification through reporting
    • Understand Warranty procedures and processes and set up appropriate structures to capture warranty claims and repairs.
    • Assists in ensuring that all recall campaigns are completed and documented correctly and provide support to field operatives as needed
    • Works to define documentation standards for invoicing to customers and roadmap of accounting from asset management software.
    • Leverages understanding of maintenance metrics such as PM Compliance, CPMs, OTP/Uptime, MDBF, DOT/State/Provincial pass percentages, technician utilization, and standard job times to develop reports or dashboards that provide management and business stakeholders with quantifiable gauges of the delivery of business results
    • Manages intranet data base for SOPs and standard process documents
    • Identifies and directs the implementation of workflows to provide structure and process improvements within the greater maintenance organization
    • Enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental enterprise initiatives

Qualifications

    • 5+ Years in enterprise asset management system administration
    • 2 years of experience with process and data management
    • Proven experience in data souring, data processing, data pipeline and data sink. 
    • 2 Years of experience working with telemetry software (Zonar, Geotab, Samsara, etc.)
    • 2 years of experience in project or transition management
    • Proven project management leadership skills including, critical ability to coordinate, and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure and deadlines
    • Knowledge of SQL Scripts and macros using analytical software and databases (Excel, Power BI, Domo)
    • Demonstrated ability to identify and recommend process improvements
    • Strong leadership management skills with internal clients (e.g. senior management, peers and colleagues); proven ability to develop creative and collaborative approaches
    • Demonstrated ability to find immediate solutions with continuing to work on process improvement
$90,000 - $105,000 a year
