DevOps Engineer (QB-Devops-20250106)

We are looking for ambitious and talented DevOps with a strong technical background who are looking for an opportunity to have a huge impact and be part of a growing team in a fast-moving, exciting, and entrepreneurial space.

Requirements

    • +7 Years Of Experience
    • Cloud microservice structuring and deployment experience in AWS/Docker/Linux
    • Design experience with service and database vertical and lateral scaling
    • Service monitoring with CloudWatch, Elaticsearch
    • Windows 10/11 UWP/MAUI app deployment and OS servicing model
    • REST Based Web Services (managing both services and clients of services)
    • Database-connected applications in .NET framework
    • Familiarity with C#, Javascript, Python and whitebox debugging
    • Testing of APIs using Postman, JMeter, Karate, Insomnia
    • Gitflow and CI/CD environments servicing 24/7/365 application stacks

Desirable skills

    • Docker, Swarm, Kubernetes
    • AWS, GCP, Azure
    • MongoDB/NoSQL/LiteDB/DynamoDB Database
    • Terraform infrastructure as code
    • ControlTower well-architected framework

    • Excited and loves to understand complex software
    • Proactive mindset - enjoys and exhibits a high degree of ownership and initiative
    • Experience working in a product company or product type software development experience
    • Comfortable working in a small company, start-up, fast moving, ambitious environment
    • Flexible mindset and able to deal with ambiguity
    • Excellent communication - in person, on the phone, and in writing
    • Comfortable communicating with a wide range of individuals - including customers, peers, juniors, and seniors and executives
    • Intellectually curious, forward thinking, willing to suggest / try new technologies and creative approaches to problems
    • Work in a small team and across development squads to monitor new software releases, configuration dependencies, and forecast operational difficulties
