🧩 What You’ll Do:
✅ Build & Deploy ML Models: Lead the productization of models using MLOps best practices— orchestration, testing, monitoring, and serving.
✅ Collaborate on ML POCs: Work with data scientists to create Proof of Concepts for internal and client needs.
✅ Optimize Performance: Manage the full ML model lifecycle, improving latency, memory, and throughput.
✅ Bridge DS & DE: Act as a bridge between Data Science and Data Engineering, contributing to robust architectures.
✅ Stay Curious: Research new tools, frameworks, and practices to keep our solutions state-of-the-art.
✅ Knowledge Sharing: Document your findings and share best practices within the team.
Responsibilities 🤓
➤ Collaborative Data Solutions: Work closely with a team to deliver top-tier data solutions for our valued customers.
➤ Data Pipelines and Warehouses: Develop proof of concepts, construct and manage data and Machine Learning pipelines, and operate Data Warehouses and Data Lakes.
➤ ETL Expertise: Craft ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes catering to diverse data sources such as relational databases, NoSQL, web services, flat files, and more, aligning with project requirements.
➤ End-to-end Ownership: Take charge of problems from inception to resolution - propose, define, present, advocate, prototype, build, oversee, and maintain data systems.
➤ Modern Data Architecture: Design contemporary data pipelines and data architectures.
➤ Technological Advancements: Investigate and innovate with new technologies to enhance Mutt Data's toolkit and promote best practices. We encourage your contributions to infrastructure, code, frameworks, and more.
➤ Technical Interviews: Collaborate on hiring interview processes (exam reviews and technical interviews)
Required Skills 💻
✓ Software Engineering and Development Experience (Minimum 3+ Years)
✓ Advanced Python Proficiency.
✓ Solid expertise in databases and SQL.
✓ Ability to interpret and implement customer's technical requirements.
✓ Data Pipelining Skills: Experience in data pipelining with Spark, Python, and SQL.
✓ Analytical Data Systems: Experience in constructing analytical data systems over Modern Data Warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake) or Data Lakes (e.g., Databricks, AWS S3, Presto, EMR, Glue, etc.).
✓ Experience with batch ETL or stream processing systems or frameworks.
✓ Familiarity with the Modern Data Stack: Like DBT, Airflow, and Airbyte.
✓ Spanish Advanced Level.
Nice to have skills 😉
✓ AWS or GCP Management
✓ Code Hygiene: A sharp sense of code hygiene, including code review, documentation, testing, and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery).
✓ Hadoop Platform Management: Installation and management of Hadoop platforms, whether on the cloud or on-premise.
✓ Stream Processing Knowledge: Experience with stream processing tools like Kafka Streams, Kinesis, or Spark.
✓ Proficiency in Python's Scientific Stack, including numpy, pandas, jupyter, matplotlib, scikit-learn, and related tools.
✓ English Intermediate Level.
