Good Shepherd Food Bank is seeking a Chief Financial Officer, to be based in either their Auburn or Hampden office location with the option of occasional remote work. The CFO is a pivotal role within the organization, serving as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team. The CFO will play a crucial role in planning the strategic direction of the organization and will work closely with various teams to align financial strategies with the mission of the food bank.
The mission of Good Shepherd Food Bank is to promote food security in Maine by improving access to nutritious and culturally relevant food for people experiencing hunger, building strong community partnerships, and mobilizing the public to address the root causes of hunger.
Good Shepherd Food Bank was established in 1981 as a non-profit organization working to eliminate hunger in the state of Maine. Through food donation programs, hard-working volunteer efforts, community outreach, and 600+ organizations located throughout the state, we have become a vital resource for those facing food insecurity.
