Description

The Staffing and Workforce Specialist within the Capacity Planning team is a key strategic partner to the recruiting team and hiring managers, ensuring seamless alignment between workforce planning and business objectives. This role is responsible for optimizing staffing operations, maintaining a strong talent pipeline, and leveraging data-driven insights to enhance workforce efficiency. The ideal candidate will proactively manage workforce supply and demand to meet operational goals, acting as a trusted advisor to business leaders.

Key Responsibilities

Workforce Planning & Staffing Support

  • Collaborate with the recruiting team and hiring managers to ensure efficient and effective fulfillment of staffing needs.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand workforce requirements and align staffing strategies with organizational goals.
  • Assist in capacity forecasting by analyzing business projections, historical trends, and workforce data.
  • Proactively monitor and address staffing gaps, ensuring workforce readiness to support business demands.

Talent Pipeline & Resource Allocation

  • Build and maintain a robust internal and external talent pipeline to meet evolving business needs.
  • Track and manage pre-qualified candidates to reduce hiring lead times for critical roles.
  • Oversee the allocation of available talent to projects, ensuring optimal workforce utilization.

Data & Reporting

  • Monitor and track key staffing metrics such as workforce utilization, talent pool strength, and time-to-fill critical roles.
  • Generate workforce planning reports to provide actionable insights for business leaders.
  • Use data-driven analysis to improve staffing processes and decision-making.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the recruiting team, hiring managers, the Capacity Planning function, and Practice Managers.
  • Lead regular workforce planning meetings to align staffing efforts with business needs.
  • Support communication strategies to ensure transparency and alignment in staffing initiatives.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

Experience:

  • 4+ years in staffing, workforce planning, or talent acquisition within the IT Services Industry.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in workforce planning, forecasting, and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
  • English: Full professional proficiency.
  • Data Analytics.
