Responsibilities

  • Engage business owners through outbound outreach via email, calls, and LinkedIn—starting conversations that can lead to life-changing opportunities.

  • Qualify potential sellers and guide them toward discovery calls with Account Executives, ensuring a strong pipeline of motivated business owners.

  • Educate and build trust with business owners, helping them understand Baton’s valuation and sale process.

  • Own the early sales cycle by tracking outreach, engagement, and pipeline movement in our CRM to identify key insights and opportunities.

  • Collaborate with Account Executives to fine-tune messaging, optimize conversion rates, and drive deals forward.

  • Hit and exceed targets—this role is all about making an impact, with clear goals around calls, meetings, and conversions.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in sales or outbound outreach—bonus points if it's in SaaS, marketplaces, or financial services.

  • A natural communicator with excellent written and verbal skills, able to engage and build rapport effortlessly.

  • A self-starter with a strong work ethic, thriving in a fast-moving, results-driven sales environment.

  • Experience with tools like Gong, Outreach, or Attio is a plus—but a willingness to learn and adapt is even better.

  • A competitive, growth-oriented mindset, always looking for ways to improve and make an impact.
