About the role:
We are seeking a results-driven Business Analyst to support the Affiliates Team with insightful analysis, performance tracking, and strategic recommendations. The affiliate program plays a pivotal role in driving business growth, and the ideal candidate will leverage data to optimize its performance and impact. This role offers significant opportunities for professional growth, with the potential to shape high-impact strategies in a fast-paced environment.

Who You Are:

    • As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making and optimizing the Affiliate program and  its strategies. You are a proactive problem solver who thrives on uncovering insights, identifying trends, and creating actionable recommendations to meet business objectives. Collaborating cross-functionally with teams from Affiliates, Marketing, Finance and Product, you ensure seamless integration of data insights with business strategy.
    • A successful candidate is both analytical and business-savvy, capable of translating complex data into clear, impactful narratives. You possess strong technical skills in data visualization, backend analytics, and UI/UX design, combined with a sharp understanding of affiliate programs, loyalty programs, and sales analytics. Your ability to bridge the gap between data and strategy while managing stakeholders and delivering high-impact solutions sets you apart.

What You’ll Do:

      Performance Tracking:
    • Identify and monitor affiliate performance metrics.
    • Track and analyze the performance of affiliate managers to identify areas for improvement and success.
    • Develop and maintain a system for ranking and benchmarking affiliates.

    • ROI Analysis:
    • Calculate ROI for the affiliate program, considering cost and revenue generation.
    • Provide actionable insights to optimize spending and maximize affiliate ROI.

    • Affiliate Engagement and Enablement:
    • Develop data-driven insights and dynamic dashboards to engage affiliates and highlight key performance metrics and opportunities for growth.
    • Train affiliates on how to use dashboards effectively to maximize their returns.
    • Ensure affiliates are equipped to derive the best outcomes from provided tools and data.

    • Strategic Alignment:
    • Assess the contribution of the affiliate program and align its performance with overall business goals.
    • Recommend strategies to enhance the impact of affiliates on broader marketing and business objectives.
    • Identify trends to anticipate future opportunities or risks in the affiliate program.

    • Key Focus Areas:
    • Prioritize strategic business analysis, emphasizing actionable insights.
    • Bridge the gap between data and business strategy to drive measurable outcomes.
    • Collaborate closely with Affiliates Team, Product, and Data Engineering teams to align with business objectives.
    • Drive innovation in data analysis and visualization techniques to provide cutting-edge solutions.

What You’ll Bring:

    • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in business analysis, business intelligence, data analytics, strategic data analysis, visualization, storytelling. or a related field.
    • Proven track record of working with affiliate programs, loyalty programs, or Sales Analytics
    • Experience working in product-focused SaaS companies.

    • Analytical Prowess:
    • Strong ability to analyze data, interpret trends, and provide actionable insights.
    • Experience with metrics related to traffic,trials, conversions, and performance tracking.
    • Familiarity with UI/UX principles to create intuitive dashboards and reports.
    • Ability to connect data insights to business objectives and drive value-added recommendations.

    • Technical Expertise:
    • Visualization Tools: Proficient in Tableau, Google Data Studio, or similar platforms.
    • Backend Tools: Strong knowledge of Snowflake, SQL, and other relational database systems for data extraction and manipulation.
    • Data Processing: Proficiency in advanced Excel or Google Sheets (e.g., pivot tables, complex formulas). Experience with automating reporting processes is a plus.
    • Wireframing Tools: Familiarity with wireframing or prototyping tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Balsamiq for collaborating on user-centric dashboard designs is a plus.

    • Communication Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication to articulate insights and influence decision-making.
    • Strong stakeholder management skills to align with business priorities.
