ABOUT THE TEAM
Technology is at the core of what we do. Basis Technologies' innovative Engineering team designs and develops new features and integrations for Basis, our industry-leading, comprehensive software solution. Our platform processes over 300 billion events per day and uses AI and machine learning to automate and simplify the entire digital campaign process.
As part of this effort, our DSP QA team plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of the platform. The team focuses on validating APIs, backend service jobs, and works extensively with both SQL and NoSQL databases, containerized environments, and Amazon cloud infrastructure. The team helps guarantee the stability of complex distributed systems at scale through a combination of functional, integration, and performance testing.
WAYS YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE
This role has a strong emphasis on writing and maintaining automated acceptance/regression tests against a web application developed. Other ways you will contribute to the team are by:
- Being responsible for the design and implementation of our DSP Backend automation test suite
- Designing test plans and implementing automated tests for our APIs and Jobs
- Being the voice of quality in highly collaborative agile product teams
- Managing the transition of the environment and our automated test suites to the cloud
- Integrating AI into the automation process
- Acknowledging and embracing diversity of thought and opinion and approach with Beeps, clients and vendors, regardless of background, culture, and organizational level. Specific examples include, but are not limited to:
- Engaging Actively in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (IDEA)
- Pursuing Continuous IDEA Development

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Good understanding of computer science fundamentals
- Great coding skills and experience in Java and Java Script
- OO development, data-structures, SQL, MongoDB
- Great understanding of web-apps architecture design and client-server technologies
- Experience in API testing
- Experience of work with Linux, Containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD systems
BONUS POINTS
- Bachelors degree in Computer science, Engineering or related field
- Knowledge of Playwright framework
- Experience with UI automation, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Page Object Model, Unit Test frameworks
- DevOps knowledge and experience
- Experience with the entire development cycle of projects
- Excited by a fast-paced product development environment
- Passion for Ad-Tech
$81,000 - $113,000 a year
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual salary is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process. The total compensation package for this position may also include commission or bonus, company equity, and competitive benefits.
