Summary of Position:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate sales leader to play a critical role in enabling the successful launch of apitegromab, the company’s phase 3 candidate for the treatment of Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). The Area Business Director (Southeast/Southwest) will have the opportunity to help build and lead area field-based sales team as well as shape and execute the launch strategy for Scholar Rock’s first commercial medicine. The Area Business Director role (ABD) oversees & leads the area designated sales organization to achieve or exceed revenue targets, as well as achieving/exceeding other key performance initiatives to help strengthen the awareness, market position, adoption, utilization and overall success of Scholar Rock’s first commercial product. The ABD will work cross-functionally to align brand strategy with the field team and execute compliantly to maximize business opportunities. This is a high-impact role with a unique opportunity to lead in an entrepreneurial environment and affect the trajectory of the company’s first launch.
