Your mission

As Anti Money Laundering Officer at Bitpanda your role will include reporting to the Board, leading your own team with responsibility for all AML topics and advising the business on all AML matters.

What you’ll do

• Maintain oversight of all applicable AML regulations and the consequent processes and procedures within the company or other entities within the Bitpanda Group
• Perform and maintain a comprehensive AML assessment in alignment with group standards
• Report and align frequently to the local Senior Management and relevant Group Functions on all applicable KRIs and KPIs, regulatory changes etc.
• Report to and cooperate with your local FIU 
• Lead and convoy internal and external audits as well as regulatory on-site inspections

Who you are 

• You have a legal, economic or regulatory background ideally with some experience within the crypto and/or financial industry;
• You are familiar with core compliance topics and have experience with the legal responsibility of an AMLO
• You are a team player, open-minded, organised, resilient, reliable, and committed
• Fluent in English and German is preferred
