Acumatica Financial Controller

We are looking for a Controller who will be responsible for managing all accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. 

This role requires a proactive leader with extensive experience in accounting and proficiency in Acumatica software.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
    • Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
    • Manage the budgeting process, providing financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and standards.
    • Coordinate and lead internal and external audits.
    • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.
    • Utilize Acumatica software to streamline accounting processes and maintain financial data integrity.
    • Identify training needs and implement development programs.
    • Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
    • Coordinate and prepare for audits, liaising with external auditors as needed.
    • Oversee tax planning and compliance.

Process Improvement:

    • Assess current accounting operations and recommend improvements.
    • Implement new processes and systems to enhance financial operations.

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
    • CPA certification is a plus.
    • Proven experience with Acumatica financial software is required.
    • Experience working with multiple legal entities under different
    • legal umbrellas is advantageous.

Skills:

    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
    • Proficiency in financial software applications, particularly Acumatica.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
$15 - $16 an hour
