About You

You’re a results-driven salesperson who thrives on building relationships and guiding business owners through complex, high-stakes decisions. You take full ownership of the sales cycle—from the first conversation to a signed engagement—ensuring every owner understands their valuation and the sale process. Your consultative approach allows you to educate, build trust, and convert potential sellers into engaged clients.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll directly influence business owners' futures while achieving strong financial rewards. Responsibilities

  • Lead high-impact discovery calls with business owners, assessing their goals and positioning Baton as the premier solution for their sale.

  • Deliver compelling valuation presentations, articulating market insights and guiding owners through Baton’s proven sales process.

  • Navigate complex objections with strategic thinking, influencing owners to make informed, confident decisions.

  • Negotiate and close sales agreements for Baton’s Pro and Lite contracts, driving revenue growth and expanding market presence.

  • Manage a high-value sales pipeline with precision, consistently exceeding monthly and quarterly targets.

  • Partner with BDRs and marketing leadership to refine conversion strategies, ensuring a seamless transition from interest to engagement.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of sales experience, preferably in B2B, SaaS, financial services, or M&A.

  • Strong ability to educate and consult with business owners.

  • Track record of exceeding quotas in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in a high-volume sales role with short to medium sales cycles.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills.

  • Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
